A FRENCH ANTIQUE GILT WOOD SOFA
This is seriously decorative! The nicely aged well shaped frame sports a gilded finish and is all sound and sturdy. The original fabric is gorgeous and shows ageing and some marks but is generally all sound. (please see photos). It's a good weighty sofa and is fine to sit on. Photos of the underneath and the back are present. Old webbing is present and is doing its job nicely. Overall it's a very genuine sofa which is nicely aged with age related imperfections. It dates 19th Century.
